| The "Cinéma
au Soleil Association" aims to bring together
and federate all the professional participants in the
cinema, audiovisual, television and multimedia industries.
The association believes that these different mediums
use content that has a genuine cultural and economic
value.
Although the "Cinéma au Soleil",
(Association Law 1901), is established in Marseille
and based at the Belle-de-Mai
Media Centre, it has a regional vocation with a long-term
European perspective.
The association’s most important objective is to
create the best conditions possible for the economic
development of local companies, and exterior businesses
attracted by the dynamism of Marseille and the region.
The
impact of the association’s
activities reach beyond the Belle-de-Mai Media Centre.
It aims to be the industry driving force behind those
working in audiovisual, cinema, television, multimedia,
editing, distribution and broadcasting of programmes,
techniques and technology in this sector.
Consequently, the association welcomes members who direct
projects, or who are active in these specific fields.
The "Cinéma au Soleil" association concerns
all the companies established in Marseille, Nice, Cannes
and Arles and in the rest of the region, but also national
and international companies that regularly work in the
Provence-Alpes-Cote-D’Azur.

in structuring a professional network of the sector
Expertise and promotion by providing close support for projects addressed to
the association, after the proposals have been examined.
Establishment projects for companies and professionals in the sector.
Production projects in the following areas: audiovisual, cinema, television,
multimedia, editing, distribution and broadcasting. |

Making the association’s relationship network available to establish a
genuine co-ordination with the political and technical authorities responsible
for public financial aid.
Creation of an information and services platform for professionals that can connect
all the participants in the sector.

Creation of an information and communication platform.
Creation of links or interfaces between the different participants of the sector
in order to facilitate and establish contact and synergies between all the participants
of the audiovisual and multimedia industries at the local, regional, national

Participate in communication activities aimed at structuring, organising and
developing the sector in Marseille, the department and the region.
Participate in organising events designed to promote the advantages of the sector.
